It's Teen Night at Writers Theatre! Join GYS and The Writers Theatre Youth Council for this special preview performance of the award winning musical Once. There will be a pre-show party with food and activities. This is a great opportunity for a night on the town, to meet new teens and to catch an exclusive performance of Once before it opens later this month.
This event is limited to 20. Tickets are only $10! District 35 has an early release followed by no school Friday so no stress on keeping the kids out late on a week night!

Our first Girls Night in SOLD OUT so we are back for another fabulous evening devoted to our girls. We will put the heart in art for an evening of JOURNAL MAKING, MEDITATION, DIY BATH BOMBS, ,FACIALS, HAIR AND NAILS UPDATE FOLLOWED BY SOME DELICIOUS SNACKS!
LET'S NOT FORGET A ROMANTIC MOVIE! AND OF COURSE OUR HENNA ARTIST WILL BE RETURNING. THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 12.

Join Glencoe Youth Services for our next Morning of Service series on Saturday, February 4th as we prepare lunches for the Evanston shelter Connections for the Homeless. In addition, we will be making no sew fleece blankets for House of Peace Women and Children's shelter in Waukegan, cat toys for CARE animal shelter and assembling packages of paper goods for the New Trier Township Food Pantry. Register as a family or individual for this morning of service which meets at the GYS Field House in Glencoe (680 Greenwood Ave) from 10-12. Space is limited.
GYS is located next to Central School tennis courts (between Central School and the baseball field).
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Glencoe Youth Services GYS provides recreational, educational. social service, and leadership opportunities, in a safe and supportive environment to high school and middle school age youth living in New Trier Township.
GYS is a 501(c)3 non-profit and relies entirely on the generosity of civic and corporate donors for its financial support
Open weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., teens are welcome to drop in voluntarily to enjoy recreational and educational opportunities. We offer a safe space for young people to relax, grow, make friends, join a leadership board and more. Every year, hundreds of youth enjoy this nurturing, convenient, and fun environment. Our programs are always guided by trained professional staff who facilitate meaningful connections among all youth.
Glencoe Youth Services relies on the volunteer work from good people like you! Whether your talent is cooking, helping with homework, sewing, sports, photography, cartooning, drawing or helping young people or people with special needs discover and explore different cultures, we invite you to share your interests with our GYS community. SNAP (Special Needs Adult Pals)
SNAP meets on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 PM in the Glencoe Youth Services (GYS) building. Every week starts with a warm, healthy dinner provided by generous donors (including religious organizations, non-profits, and individual families). At the beginning of every month, the group votes on programming for each Tuesday of the month.
Popular activities include: Bingo, Karaoke, Uno, and movies. Once a month, we have a special guest speaker come in and teach topics such as healthy eating, available community resources, and more! We also do community outings to movie theatres, restaurants, arcades and more!
